THE PHOTOSHOOT

When Tony Visions and I meet up to work on something, we always create magic! He’s a fashion designer from Miami with a luxury street brand and also runs a creative space in Wynwood called Vision Haus. He’s done fashion shows around South Florida, New York, and even London.

I grew up making the most out of what I had and that’s an idea I still live by today. Therefore, every time I do a photoshoot, I try to get different “sets” from each session. It’s almost like mini-shoots within the shoot. For example, a photoshoot with one outfit might seem limiting in terms of diversity of shots. However, I can create a numerous amount of sets of pictures that share a similar editing style or some kind of distinct visual feature. This enables me to create more content from just one session that would normally yield just one set of pictures. At this shoot, with Ellie, we had two or three outfits, styled by Tony, and I produced about 7 different sets of 3 photos each. For this particular one, the picture with the stop sign gave me a post-apocalyptic, modern western, and vintage movie vibe. With minimal editing in post and an RGB handheld light source on site, I think I captured the vibe I was going for. Let me know if you agree and how you feel about these shots in the comments below. Stay tuned for the next shoot!
