Joaquin "JAKX" Pineda is a photo-snapping, rapping, Architect from the greater Miami area. After being introduced to Hip-Hop by his older brother, he eventually began writing his own raps and recorded his first song in 2005. When his longtime friend Dro Willis moved onto his block in 2006, they formed the duo, Tha Threat. They became well known fairly quickly, after dissing various local rappers, and even reached the top of the unsigned charts on MySpace. Although they recorded over 20 songs, they never released an official project.

In 2012, JAKX founded the lifestyle brand, Dirty5ive. He has released two projects between 2012-2013, a collaborative EP with makeVPknown in 2018, and various singles. Today, Dirty5ive is brand many people identify with, and an international platform on Instagram for upcoming artists with a strong local presence in Miami. We focus on creating opportunities through cyphers, pop-ups, and events that promote and engage with the artistic community at large.
