>BIOGRAPHY<

Joaquin "JAKX" Pineda is an Architect and Artist of many mediums from the greater Miami area. He got his start with music in 2006 with long time friend and collaborator Dro Willis, forming the duo Tha Threat. They became well known fairly quickly after dissing various local rappers; even reaching the top of the unsigned charts on MySpace. Although they recorded over 20 songs, they never released an official project.

In 2012, JAKX founded the lifestyle brand, Dirty5ive. He released two projects between 2012-2013 and a collaborative EP with makeVPknown in 2018. Today, Dirty5ive is brand many people identify with, and an international platform on Instagram for upcoming artists with a strong local presence in Miami. We focus on creating opportunities through challenges, pop-ups, and events that promote and engage with the community at large.
